House Cats Acting Strange?

Has this been happening inside? Female cats are very territorial and will fight for their territory if needed. Since they have been going outside on harnesses and they bring new smells into the house that they need to get rid of. Thus they fight over the territory tey need to mark as their own. My cats did that all of the time
