I have a Intex 15'x48" metal frame pool, How many chlorine tablets do i put in, and how often?

Some people sat use a floating dispenser and others say to put it in the skimmer! It came with a Krystal Clear filter/pump model #637R. And a basket that i can hook up to hang over the side, where do I put the Chlorine tabs!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!
