What all do i need for a 10 gallon fish tank.?

im thinking of getting a 10 gallon fish tank tomarrow & was just wondering what all i need for it.? i plan on having different fish in there if that matter's.! & im pretty sure most tanks comes with a light and filter. also im confused on the pump thing because there is a air pump and a water pump.? which one do i need.? thanks
