Would you recommend getting an American Eskimo ?

Size usually doesn't matter, especially if you get the larger dog when they are a puppy (the smaller will establish dominance before they are mismatched in size). It is not, however, a good idea to buy dogs from pet stores. The animals are often poorly bred and have many health and/or behavioral problems later in life. If you are really keen of an American Eskimo dog, I recommend you check the humane society (they usually have little fluffy dogs) or find a local breeder who can prove the bloodlines of their animals (you should make sure that you can meet one or both of the parents).
