Need help installing CD player in 1999 Monte Carlo?

Ok I'm ordering a new car stereo and I have a few questions.....1.) Will I have to buy a new harness, kit, and antenna or does this stuff already come with the cd player I ordered.....2.) Do I really have to unplug my car battery when installing the new CD player ?
